WHY IS THIS SO MATCHA BETTER?

Grown in Japan
Our matcha is grown in the Shizouka district of Japan. The leaves are shaded for a month to retain its high nutrient profile.
Perfect Texture
This batch, like all high-quality matcha, has a smooth texture. To test it, put a little bit on a piece of paper and smear it. It’ll leave a clean line with little to no breaks.
Rich Colour
The vibrant green colour is indicative of matcha’s purity and quality. The greener a matcha, the better it is!
Taste
Good quality matcha has a sweet earthy flavour that blooms beautifully when added to milk.
Finish
When you take a sip of matcha, you can feel a smooth, silky finish that lasts about 30 seconds or so.
Froth
A creamy, frothy layer after a decent whisk indicates the quality of the matcha. This is the ultimate test of good matcha!
The Matcha Ritual
The matcha experience begins right at the making process.
It can be a beautiful, meditative process that allows for deeper enjoyment!
