Sesame-Walnut Protein Chikki

To match the festive spirits around us, we’re bringing you some sesame protein bites made with our Classic Unflavoured Protein!

These little bites are delicious and packed with protein. Let's dive in! 

INGREDIENTS 

🥄 Sesame seeds: 1 cup
🥄 Walnuts (chopped): ½ cup
🥄 Jaggery (grated): ¾ cup
🥄 Classic Unflavoured No-Nonsense Plant Protein Powder: 3 tbsp
🥄 Ghee: 1 tbsp
🥄 Water: 2 tbsp

HOW TO MAKE 

👩🏻‍🍳 Toast: Dry roast sesame seeds and walnuts separately until golden.
👩🏻‍🍳 Make Syrup: Heat ghee, add jaggery and water, stirring until it forms a thick syrup (test in cold water- when you add a drop of the syrup, it should turn brittle immediately).
👩🏻‍🍳 Combine: Turn off heat, mix in sesame seeds, walnuts, and protein powder.
👩🏻‍🍳 Shape: Flatten onto a greased surface, about ½-inch thick.
👩🏻‍🍳 Cut: Slice into bars while warm, cool completely, and enjoy!
